Crafting Custom Hospitality Interiors for the New Montréal Airport Property

When we were invited to contribute to the newly built Hyatt Place Montréal Airport hotel, our team was excited to help bring the design vision to life. Working on a new hospitality project is always motivating, especially when we are involved from the fabrication stage through the final installation.

Project Scope

Our scope included custom drapery and furniture for the guest rooms and public areas, giving us the opportunity to help define the atmosphere throughout the hotel. Each piece needed to meet the performance requirements of a high-traffic airport property, and our fabrication methods allowed us to deliver both durability and a refined, cohesive look.

Design Foundations

We began by studying the design specifications and finish selections provided by the project design team. Understanding these details accurately was essential. Every material and textile had to support the design vision while withstanding constant use. From selecting appropriate fabric qualities to engineering long-lasting case goods, we approached each decision with care and focus.

Guestroom Craftsmanship

The drapery helped establish the character of the guestrooms, with treatments designed to match the designers’ palette while providing balanced light control, privacy, and easy operation. Fabricating everything in our own facility ensured uniform quality across all 154 rooms. At the same time, we produced a full suite of custom furniture for each room type, including ADA compliant units. Each piece was built to hospitality standards with carefully coordinated finishes.

Project Delivery

Large-scale hospitality projects require detailed planning and close coordination. Our experience managing full FF&E and drapery packages kept the process steady from early samples through final installation. Walking through the completed spaces, the connection between the drapery, furniture, and architecture is immediately evident. The rooms feel comfortable and thoughtfully crafted for travelers arriving at any hour.

We are proud to have contributed to this new hotel and look forward to seeing guests enjoy these spaces for years to come. If your hospitality project requires a team skilled in both custom furniture and drapery fabrication, we would be glad to help bring your vision to life. Stay tuned for more stories in our Project Spotlight series.
